Project Story:
Travis and Leigha had just purchased a property and had a vision of a retreat center and were situated to invest. Their concept was to mix together Sauna and Forest Bathing so that guests could experience rest and relaxation in a natural environment outside of developed urban cityscapes. The property, located in Finlayson, MN boasts beautiful land with multiple ponds, meadows, green canopy tree cover, and an Airbnb for an overnight stays.
The sauna, just like forest bathing, offers another way to recharge in a centered way. With hot-room temperatures exceeding 180 degrees, guests are invited to leave their phones behind and tune in to their inner landscape. Nearby cold plunges and Bucket Shower offer a refreshing contrast therapy to enjoy throughout the guided session.
