Because More Saunas Deserve Sauna Water
We’re excited to announce that Sauna Water is expanding in a big way, and will soon be available online and in more saunas across the country!

Starting on July 1st, Sauna Water will be operated by a new organization, team, and set of resources to help the brand thrive in the wellness beverage industry. What originally started as a passion project between Cedar & Stone Nordic Sauna and Portage Brewing has grown into a following that requires intentional focus.
Led by Jeff Vondenkamp, Co-Owner of Portage Brewing, the new team is set to take Sauna Water to the next level – which will include new product lines, a brand redesign, the launch of a direct-to-customer platform, and growing the sales footprint nationally.
Jeff shared, “This project started out of a genuine love for sauna, and all of the beautiful saunas and experiences that Cedar & Stone was building. We wanted to design a beverage that inspired people to find what I continue to find inside sauna sessions. Sauna Water has taken root for so many people as a beverage that’s made here in Minnesota and fills many beverage gaps for those looking to lead healthier lives.”
Sauna Water started with Cedar & Stone as a way to connect our love of sauna through a restorative beverage experience. To continue on that mission, Cedar & Stone is teaming up as Sauna Water’s official marketing partner, bringing their beverages along for even more sauna adventures and content experiences.
“Many people believe they need alcohol to be a social lubricant, helping them feel comfortable in social settings. Part of the beauty of sauna is not only the physical health benefit but also the fact that it provides a low-stress and easy social environment to connect with other people, without the aid of alcohol. It always amazes me how quickly you can get into deep conversations and make friends when doing challenging things, especially when being in a hot room and jumping in cold water,” highlighted Justin Juntunen, Co-Founder and Chief of Growth at Cedar & Stone.
