On the quiet shores of Lake Michigan, a tucked-away cabin has found its final missing piece: a lakeside Nordic sauna designed for morning stillness, weekend recovery, and full-sensory immersion in nature.
This latest installation features our Model 5+ Outdoor Sauna, set just steps from the sand. With panoramic windows framing uninterrupted lake views, the sauna offers a front-row seat to sunrise steam sessions and golden-hour plunges, all just outside the client’s back door.
The structure is clad in thermally-modified Ash from Arbor Wood Co., chosen both for its natural resilience and tonal harmony with the surroundings. Inside, two-tier benches provide varied heat zones for a customizable sweat, while underbench LED lighting creates an inviting glow once the sun dips below the horizon. The added changing room maximizes heat retention while providing comfort and convenience for family and guests alike.
At the heart of the experience is a Wi-Fi-enabled HUUM electric Hive stove, programmed for pre-dawn rituals or evening recovery with the simple tap of an app.
