Are you still taking bespoke projects?
We’re no longer taking on new bespoke projects. Over the years, those builds taught us what works. Timeless forms, thoughtful materials, and design details that stand the test of time.
Today, that legacy lives on in our customizable, mass timber outdoor saunas: four refined footprints, each built to order and fully customizable in layout, finish, and detail. You still get a sauna that’s uniquely yours—just built on the foundation of everything we’ve learned from years of one-of-a-kind design.
Why our saunas feel better and last longer.
All of our custom saunas are made to order. Typical design process takes 1-2 months from concept to final renderings. Typically, we are 8-12 months out in our production queue. At any time you can submit a reservation deposit to secure a place in our calendar.
We’ve created the modern incarnation of the traditional log sauna.
Our saunas are constructed from cross-laminated timber (CLT), a solid wood material trusted in European sustainable architecture. We’re the only sauna company in the U.S. building this way.
Unlike thin framing or prefab panels, CLT offers exceptional thermal mass, creating smoother, more even heat while resisting warping and moisture over time even in the harshest of climates.
Why it matters:
- Even, Radiant Heat: Holds and releases warmth gradually, more like a traditional log sauna, without hot spots or cold feet.
- Engineered to Last: Strong, stable, and moisture-resistant for year-round durability.
- Low-Waste, Carbon-Storing: Built from layers of fast-growing timber and processed in-house to reduce emissions.
The result is a sauna that feels better, lasts longer, and does right by the planet — from the inside out.
Investment
Most clients invest with us like you might with a vehicle. Our bespoke projects range from $250,000-$80,000, with our Premium line of pre-designed sauna models starting at $72,000-$49,900 depending on the model.
Investments begin with contract signature after selections and installation strategy.
We require an initial 50% payment upon contract signature, with another 50% due for release of shipment of your sauna.
How are Cedar & Stone saunas delivered and installed?
We deliver and install fully built saunas to site for you to limit the process of construction on site. This makes for simple 1 day installations, with coordination of onsite utilities ahead of time.
We specialize in modular mass timber saunas. Providing best in class service for volumetric modular installation and service.
We do NOT provide:
- On-site sauna building for indoor or outdoor saunas.
- Sauna kits or panelized construction that often do not hold up to long-term use.

What site preparation would be needed prior to installation?
With simple considerations ahead of time we strive to make working with any local contractors easy and seamless. Our team at Cedar & Stone will provide you with any documentation needed to prepare your site for a sauna that will last decades.
Most sauna sites include considerations for:
- Ground preparation
- Electrical
- Water and plumbing

Longevity + Warranty
We believe sauna should be a long-term investment in your property, health, and family. Unlike most kit and barrel sauna options, all of our saunas are designed to last decades with proper care.
With this in mind, we provide a full 2-year warranty on our products.
