But the centerpiece, the ritual that grounds the entire experience twelve months a year, is sauna and cold plunge.
Just days before Christmas, we delivered a fully customized Model 8 outdoor sauna to this expansive property. Perfectly timed for winter gatherings and quiet holiday mornings, this sauna was designed to be used often, shared generously, and lived in fully.
Built for Gathering
Customized from our Model 8 footprint, this sauna comfortably welcomes eight to ten people at a time. It is a space designed for conversation, stillness, wellness, and connection.
Floor-to-ceiling picture windows from H Window Company frame the surrounding landscape, bringing the mountains into the room while maintaining the warmth and intimacy of the sauna experience. Inside, our new all-glass interior door creates a seamless visual flow between rooms, allowing light to travel freely while preserving heat where it matters most.
Custom backrests and deeper benches were added throughout, inviting longer sits and a more relaxed posture. This family uses their sauna often, so every design choice was made with comfort and longevity in mind.
To support continuous use, we installed an industry-leading Harvia commercial Wi-Fi-enabled electric heater. Built for high-demand environments, it allows the sauna to stay ready whenever the moment calls, whether that is early morning, late evening, or anything in between.
Thoughtful Details Beyond the Hot Room
In the changing room, the clients opted for an operable casement window offering fresh air and seasonal flexibility. A full custom cabinetry and beverage station anchors the space, complete with a commercial-grade refrigerator and freezer. Hydration is never far away here, whether it is cold water, electrolytes, or a celebratory drink shared with friends.
Outside, the experience continues. The sauna is wrapped in thermally modified burnt and brushed pine from Arbor Wood Co. A freestanding bucket shower offers an invigorating rinse. At the same time, a stunning stainless steel in-ground cold plunge delivers the cold side of the thermic cycle in true Nordic fashion.
