2 | CHOOSE YOUR CUSTOMIZATIONS & PLAN YOUR INSTALLATION
Our team will reach out and walk you through all the options to make the sauna customized to your needs. Choose your size and capacity, heating source, colorway, and more to make it your own.
In our kick off we will create an installation strategy, confirming access, and preferred installation method for your location.
Our clients will:
- Make final selections for their unique sauna.
- Provide site photos and video to confirm installation strategy.
3 | SIGN CONTRACT AND FIRST DEPOSIT
Our team will send over our full contract bundle that includes project totals fully inclusive of material selections, shipping, tax (if applicable), warranties, and delivery and installation strategy, estimated delivery schedule.
Full project transparent pricing helps our clients understand the entire scope of the project, instead of hidden installation costs that are more common in on-site construction projects.
Upon signature payment of 50% of the project total will be electronically invoiced for ease of payment.
3 | sit back & relax
As we begin ordering and construction, our team will keep you updated as your sauna is being built. Most projects move from deposit to completion in 4-6 months (lead times may vary seasonally). Our team will work with you on a target date for installation to ensure any needed site prep is completed.
4 | shipping & installation
When your sauna is complete we will coordinate shipping with our carriers and any needed local contractors. A final invoice of 50% will be sent to release shipment.
Installation commonly lasts 1 day. Then you can start enjoying your sauna practice.

Our saunas are constructed from cross-laminated timber (CLT), a solid wood material trusted in European sustainable architecture. We’re the only sauna company in the U.S. building this way.
Unlike thin framing or prefab panels, CLT offers exceptional thermal mass, creating smoother, more even heat while resisting warping and moisture over time even in the harshest of climates.

Investment
The ADAptive Sauna starts at $99,000, with final pricing dependent on selected options, heating source, site conditions, and installation requirements.
Once your configuration is finalized, we’ll provide a detailed proposal outlining project scope, delivery, and installation.
To begin production, we require a 50% deposit upon contract signature, with the remaining balance due prior to shipment.
How are Cedar & Stone saunas delivered and installed?
We deliver and install fully built saunas to site for you to limit the process of construction on site. This makes for simple 1 day installations, with coordination of onsite utilities ahead of time.
We specialize in modular mass timber saunas. Providing best in class service for volumetric modular installation and service.
We do NOT provide:
- On-site sauna building for indoor or outdoor saunas.
- Sauna kits or panelized construction that often do not hold up to long-term use.

What site preparation would be needed prior to installation?
With simple considerations ahead of time we strive to make working with any local contractors easy and seamless. Our team at Cedar & Stone will provide you with any documentation needed to prepare your site for a sauna that will last decades.

Longevity + Warranty
We believe sauna should be a long-term investment in your property, health, and family. Unlike most kit and barrel sauna options, all of our saunas are designed to last decades with proper care.
With this in mind, we provide a full 2-year warranty on our products.
Do you offer other models or custom sauna designs?
We currently offer five sauna models: the Model 3, Model 5, Model 5+, Model 8, and ADAptive Sauna. Each model has been thoughtfully developed to deliver exceptional performance, efficient installation, and a refined guest experience.
Within each model, customers can choose from a range of customization options, including heating source, finishes, accessibility features, and other upgrades. This approach allows us to deliver a proven product with greater consistency, shorter lead times, and a streamlined installation process.
Can I get an ADAptive Sauna for my home?
Absolutely. While the ADAptive Sauna was designed to meet the needs of commercial and public-facing environments, it can also be installed on residential properties. Homeowners often choose the ADAptive for its accessible entry, spacious interior, and ease of use for guests of all ages and abilities.
Like all Cedar & Stone saunas, the ADAptive is delivered as a fully assembled modular building and can be customized with a range of heating, finish, and accessibility options.
